Gionee S6 Pro Specs & Price in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya

Gionee has announced the release of the much touted Gionee S6 Pro, although the device will be officially unveiled soon. Here's a look at the specs and features of the device.

Display & Design

The design of the mid-range device consists of a metal unibody. The device is 7.6mm thick, slightly thicker than the S6 but the S6 Pro shares the same weight with the Gionee S6 – 150grams.

The Gionee S6 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset and will feature a RAM size of 4GB. The on-board storage is penciled down as 64GB, of course with the option of expanding via a microSD card.

The device packs a 5.5-inch display with a resolution power of 1080pixel, up from 720pixel on the S6.

The Gionee S6 Pro sports the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box. The battery capacity is basically unchanged, the S6 Pro cramps a 3,130mAh battery. Also, a USB Type-C port which will be used for charging and wired data connectivity is included in the device.

The Android device brings a fingerprint reader, opting for the Home key position instead of the back which seems to be the rave of the moment.

In the camera section, the Gionee S6 Pro holds a 13MP main camera (1080p video) and an 8MP front-facing “selfie” camera.
