Since her foray into the smart phone market, South Korean tech giant LG has churned out a long list of stunning, powerful, sleek phones. Phones that are just too beautiful to behold. And they are not just only beautiful, they pack a powerful array of features and in terms of durability, the track record of the LG brand in the electronics market will tell you more about the durability of the LG list of smart phones.
Here is just a list of the smart phones LG released this year 2016. Quite a long list I must say.

LG K7 and LG K10
The LG K7 and K10 were the first smartphones in the LG K series of smartphones.
“Spec-wise,the LG K7 seems to be on the bottom of the pyramid featuring a 5″ FWVGA display, quad-core processor, 8MP rear-facing camera, LTE connectivity, 2,125mAh battery, 2.5D Arc Glass design, enhanced camera features, and will run Android 5.1 out of the box.”

LG K4
The LG K4 was the next ‘K’ phone after the K7 and K10 above.
“According to the listing,the LG K4 will come with a 4.5″ IPS display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels and will be powered by a MediaTek MT6735M SoC. It will feature just 1GB of RAM & an expandable 8GB of internal memory.”
LG X Series – LG X Cam & LG X Screen
These two devices were the first in the LG X Series of devices. Both were unveiled at the 2016 MWC event, alongside the LG G5.
“The LG X screen on the other hand highlights a 4.93-inch HD In-cell Touch display and complimented by a 1.76-inch ‘Always-on’ second screen .With the secondary display, users can have quick access to time, date, battery status and other notifications without interfering with you normal screen functions and also without unlocking the phone.”
LG G5
The LG G5 was LG’s flagship smartphone, with specs set to rival the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Apple iPhone 7.
“One interesting thing about the LG G5 that surely will make the LG G5 appeal to a wide range of Audience is its new modular design. The Modular design is LG’s way of retaining the removable battery without necessarily compromising design. It makes the lower end of the phone’s body easily removable with access the phone’s battery (which is removable) and card slots(SIM slot is located to the side of the phone)”
LG K8
This was the fourth ‘K’ smartphone released by LG in 2016, following the K4, K7 and K10. It was also the first LG K smartphone to ship with Android 6.1 MarshMallow.
“The LG K8 will come with a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display , 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU and 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable on-board storage. Also on board is an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, auto focus ,a 5MP shooter for selfies.”
LG Stylus 2
The LG Stylus 2 was the harbinger of the continuation of the LG Stylus series of smartphones started in 2015. This series of LG smartphones use a Stylus pen as well as touchscreen for input into the device.
“The LG Stylus 2 is housed in a 7.4mm thin body with a metal frame and a weight of just 145 grams .It features a 5.7-inch HD in-cell touch display with 1280 x 720 resolutions, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM on board, along with 16GB of expandable storage. Also featuring is a 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, LTE, Android 6.0 Marshmallow with LG UI on-top and a 3000 mAh battery.”
LG K5
In continuation of the line of K smartphones, LG released the LG K5 in the middle of March. The device featured LG’s UX User-interface and a curved 2.5D Arc Glass.
“The LG K5 and K4 ,aside the difference in Display shares same hardware features with a 5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6735 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal memory, micro SD slot, 5MP camera at the back, 2MP front camera, and a 1900mAh battery.”
LG X (LG X View, X Power & X Style)
Early in the month of June, LG revealed three extra members of the LG X Series – the LG X View, LG X Power, and the LG X Style. These devices each have specs equivalent to their names: the X View having a great display, the X Power brute and brain, and the X Style beautiful to behold.
“Powering the LG X View is a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage which is further expandable via micro SD card (up to 2TB).
The LG X power flaunts a larger 5.3 inch IPS display with 720p resolution (277ppi) resolutions and powered by a MediaTek MT6735 chipset, 2GB of RAM plus 16GB of expandable internal memory. It is fitted with a 13MP camera at the rear , an 8MP selfie camera on the reverse side and runs on Android 6.0 out of the box.
The LG X Style moniker on the other hand is suppose to denote a stylish phone,but the LG X style is far from been that from the information provided by its maker. It flaunts a 5-inch HD display with a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor under the hood. Other specs include a 1.5GB of RAM , 16GB of storage which is equally expandable, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera and fueled by a lower capacity 2100mAh battery.”

LG X View, Power & Style Full Specs
LG Stylus 2 Plus
The last LG phone released in 2016 at the moment, the LG Stylus 2 Plus is an advancement over the LG Stylus 2, released earlier in the year.
“LG has refreshed its stylus enabled range of Smartphone to accommodate more screen and improved processing power. The LG stylus 2 plus retains the design of last year’s LG Stylus 2,but positioned to offer more screen for work and significantly better performance than its predecessor.”
LG X Mach
The LG X Mach was announced not too long ago as the latest addition to the expanding X series. The X Mach packs a 5.5" IPS Quantum display with QHD resolution (as in 1,440 x 2,560 pixel). The back is curved to improve grip, but the screen itself is flat. Also, this is a dual-SIM phone.
The X mach promises great low-light photography with 1.55µm pixels on its 12.3MP camera (much like the Nexus 6P). For selfies, there's an 8MP camera on the front.
The phone will be powered by a hexa-core 1.8GHz processor with 3GB of RAM. Additional specs include a fingerprint reader on the back and a 3,000mAh battery.
