Chinese tech company ASUS has dramatically announced the release of a minute, pocket-sized projector tagged Asus ZenBeam E1. Who says projectors have to be bulky? This one can even fit into your palm, not just your pockets and it delivers what a standard projector offers you and lots more.

The ZenBeam E1 projector is so light weight, weighing in at just 307g, and amazingly able to connect to your Android phone, PCs, in addition to other sources, via HDMI and MHL. The device also measures 83 x 29 x 110mm.

The pocket-size Asus ZenBeam E1 projector is capable of outputting an 854×480 picture at 150 lumens of brightness. Inside the projector packs a 6,000 mAh rechargeable battery, which ASUS claims will last up to five hours. The ZenBeam E1 projector also doubles as a power bank to keep your mobile phones charged.

Given the projector’s ability to hook up to not only your Android phone, but also things like the Chromecast and Chromebit, it definitely makes for an interesting option if you’re in need of a screen on the go.

Asus also announced that the new projector is capable of delivering up to 120-inch-diagonal projections.

If you already eager to grab this great gadget and would want to know the price, the Asus ZenBeam E1 should be available for a ridiculously low price of $249 in US, which is about 17,000 Rupees in India and approximately 70,000 Naira in Nigeria, 7000 Cedis in Ghana. 

According to Asus, the device should be available from major retailers soon which should include Jumia and Konga.
